What mnemonic device can i use to remember the canopic jars? ?
The canopic jars that the Egyptians used to store the organs when they performed embaling.
Here are the names and the organs they have:
Hapy the baboon headed god gets the lungs
Duamutef the jackal headed god gets the stomach
Qebensenuef the falcon headed god gets the intestines
and Imsety the human headed god gets the liver
are there any mnemonic devices to help me remember?

Because you are dealing with some foreign names, it might be easier for you to use imagery.
1. Imagine a happy baboon sitting on a rock inflating his lungs in pride.
2. Imagine a scrawny, hungry jackal (they look like a coyote) so thin his stomach is sunken in.
3. Imagine a falcon sitting in its nest, picking apart the intestines of an animal to feed to its young.
4. Imagine a human eating liver and onions.
Remember the four animals, and you should be able to associate the image for each. Memorize the names separately. Keep your lists in the same order.
