new godsmack song 2009
Can you guys help me make an awesome CD?
I do not get to listen to music that often being a stay at home mom. The last new song I can remember was Rockstar by Nickelback if that tells you anything. I want to make a CD with newer songs on it. I’m open to new bands to. I’ll give you an idea of who I listen to if that helps. Here is who I like: The Who, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Bon Jovi, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alice in Chains, Linkin Park, Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, Stone Temple Pilots, Live, CCR, etc etc etc…. I love many more bands than that, but that was just a quick list. Thanks for all your suggestions. Anything from 2007-2009 would be great.
PS. I hate rap, r&b, or brittany spears type crap.

Led Zeppelin– Kashmir, Achilles’ Last Stand, Whole Lotta Love, etc.
AC/DC– For Those About To Rock, Hell’s Bells, Back in Black, etc.
Metallica– anything
Pearl Jam– anything
Now, I’m a huge fan of Soundgarden. If you don’t have it, buy either Superunknown or Badmotorfinger…awesome nineties.
Tool are also great– purchase Aenima or Lateralus first.
Sonic Youth are great– Daydream Nation, Sister or Dirty first…
There are lots of great songs by those bands…just search around on Youtube to find the ones you want and download them! Hope I helped!
