Should Ronald Reagan be to blame for government deregulation and conservative America?
Ever since Ronald Reagan, we have seen this more conservative shift towards smaller government, supply-side economics, etc. But has it really helped our nation out? Has the economy improved more than it did when FDR and Eisenhower were president? Was the lower taxes worth it? These are the questions I am asking.
Reagan wanted so much to lower spending and reduce the size of government, but he also had this other responsibility of keeping Americans from being blown apart by Soviet missiles.
He decided we might try to outspend the Soviets and build a bigger, stronger military.—It worked, and you’re still here.
Do you believe we should be more thankful to people like you who would have placed our safety in second place, and gave a big chunk of that money for entitlements to pimps, drug dealers, unwed mothers, absentee fathers, prostitutes, and other free-loaders ?
