Planning to move from UK to USA in 18months.?
We are planning to move to the USA when our two ‘kids’ 22 and 17 finish college and Uni (18months time). One in Fine Art/ & nterior Design the other in will be an IT Practitioner. We would like any information anyone might be willing to give about what life is like there, the people, cost of living, weather differences (apart from the obvious – more sun hopefully). Is it difficult to get work, start businesses – ANYTHING? Please don’t say – look on the internet – obviously I have been doing that but having someone actually tell you IS different. We have my son’s God Mother in New York but we have been considering Texas or Florida. My daughter spent two weeks in Texas recently and fell in love with the place and the people she met, so possibly Austin………Please send any useful thought.
